25th January - A Taste of Summer/Winter

Winter in my part of the world this year has been wet and grey.

I could've given you plenty of puddles, but this image, taken on my dog walk earlier, sums up things up for me, stark and beautiful

24th January - My Space

This represents where my head space is at the moment. Before being made redundant I went to a team workshop where I was shown how to paint with oils. 

This image represents the moment of realisation, everything was going to be ok, things were getting back to normal. 

So this is 'my space' and I look at it often, with pride of a job well done and a reminder that things are good

23rd of January - Bedtime

I was working on my sewing machine and heard a terrible noise; thought it was broken until I turned and saw this fellow, fast asleep and snoring his head off!

It was definitely his bedtime.

22nd January - Nice

I knew that today would have to be food related for me. I'm a little bit obsessed with it, taking pictures of it, posting them, attempting to win the losing weight battle linked with being obsessed with it...... You get the picture, no pun intended. However, I do take (even though I say so myself) a pretty good food picture. Here was my dinner last night.

Beef casserole with carrots,onions and wilted spinach, served with new potatoes in their skins and asparagus. In Slimming World terms, Syn free and gorgeously nice!

18th January - Happy Place

I'm happiest when I'm making something. Today's it's sewing, tomorrow it could be crochet, embroidery or cross-stitch. It's helped me through some bad times.
